SKY WATCHERS
Barb, her husband Leonard and some of their friends started an astronomical society in their community west of Denver called Coal Creek Canyon Sky Watchers which features presentations on astronomy and space by local experts and which brings together the dozens of telescopes owned by community members. Living at 9,000 feet in the Colorado Rockies, the clear, nighttime sky fuels their imagination about space travel to other worlds.
